What air box mod give? More horsepower? I'm driving almost always less than 2000ft, so is there any benefit?

Thanks. Sounds great! Is it mod any harm, if I put the turbo for the winter 2016?Yes, Viper air box Is very restricted. Easy free near 10 horsepower gain.
I wish this work stuff didn't get in the way of wrenching, testing more. I am very great full to all Ty's spending time and sharing. Btw, Terry's (nospro) xtx pulled much harder then mine the first trip to munising last year. When you can notice the difference and Terry explain exactly what he did and not keep it to himself like most would surprised me. Thank you to everyone sharing performance tips. Brent

Turbo comes with its own "air box" not needed on a turbo
Excel has some nice dyno plots showing stock, can, air box mod etc Both independently and together. To me the biggest gains come from the exhaust.

Yes they went with air box vents. I went with in my final version, just opening up the bottom (and deleting snorkel) to maintain air velocity. Just opening up the bottom behind existing frogskin and laying over the PCV divider makes it a free mod was what I was getting at as the exhaust mod requires buying a can. Both work however.

No... you are not a 100% correct. Do you have one of Excells Kits?? No... so please refrain from defacing a Advertisers product that you know nothing about. Stick to your FREE stuff, ok?

Agree. Got my name on Excell's list. Can't wait to try it out. Between my MBRP can and the Excell intake. Will be curious to see the real world gains.

Excell's is more of a true CAI with velocity stacks added into the mix. Fresh cold air from outside the engine compartment..
