I forgot to mention that the system I purchased also had as an option with it where you could interrupt the key start/ I wired mine that way/ even if the key was in the machine it wouldn't start unless the remote was pressed to reactivate it/ never a problem with the battery/I rode 6000 miles and in alot of sub-zero weather and very cold starts/ everything worked perfect/ later/ jim-bob
Thanks for the ideas and help buckeye and jim-bob...........i like your idea to rusx-1.....i have thought about one of those motion alarms.......all of the places we stay at my sled is rite outside of my room if the hotel does not have a garge (which 90% we have stayed at dont)........we have always locked them together i was just thinking of adding some extra protection and was concerned about the draw on the battery in the extreme cold.........again thanks for your help.....that is excatly what is was looking for....help
