The turbo warrior will be that of Buster696's. Please remember that this is NOT to represent anyone but TOTALLYAMAHA. This is not about promoting for ECP, Simons CPR, Heavy Hitter, Heel Clicker, or anyone else. The only stickers that will be placed on the sleds will be TOTALLYAMAHA. We are doing this to promote TOTALLYAMAHA and to try to bring more people to the site to create an even larger knowledge base. We will be running an ECP air filter kit on the RX-1 and a air filter kit on the Vector as well, those items will be identified as "add-ons" in the Amsnow article as well as any clutching that we come up with.

I'm not sure youunderstand how it works. You must submit these as sleds under aftermarket companies names. So if you use Mike Hymans RX-1 it will be a Simons CPR turbo RX-1. Nad if you do a RX-1 with Filters and clutchign it will be a ECP RX-1. You must be approved by Amsnow to enter the field. You also have to pay a fee to enter. The stockers will be done by Big moose. Muike hyman does lknow a guy that might be able to get you involved in there setup.

I do understand how it works, you have to submit these sleds under a name, it does not have to be under an aftermarket company. Randy Cramer used to do this under his dealership name, we are doing it under the Totallyamaha name. We know that we must be approved by Amsnow, that is the details we are working on right now. The fee is $800 and you can run as many sleds as you want. You have to pay the entry fee when you get to the track on Friday. We are not looking to get involved with Big Moose at all, we are looking to do our own thing under the Totallyamaha name, representing Totallyamaha, like I said before.

Thanks J, I hope to have a handle on some new clutch weights I've gotten for the Vector & RX-1 sometime in the beginning of October when the race season is over. I'll start out on the track dyno then test for 500' then 660' and then 1/4 mile recording stats for each. If you're interested in coming out & helping turn wrenches let me know as it will be a long haul to NY by myself!

As of right now Matt is not going. He's shown interest, but doesn't know if he can leave his business, Tom has also shown interest and would like to go as well, but doesn't know if he can get the time off either. I'll be leaving Tuesday afternoon/night & could drive to your place & pick you up Wednesday and we'll drive the rest of the way. Test some more Thursday & the shoot out is Friday then head back on Saturday!

We're going to work out all the details before we ask for anyone's donations, but when we get everything worked out I will be sure to put up a new post!

It will be nice to enter a well prepared turbo in the aftermarket segment of the shoot-out, but it would be even better to have someone at Big Moose Yamaha know how to set up th RX-1 in the dealer prep part of the shoot-out. It seems all Big Moose is interested in is setting up their Firecats to run good in the dealer prep runs. The general public needs to see how a well clutched RX-1 can run, and with who ever Big Moose has wrenching on the RX-1 now, it isn't going to happen. :ORC

clutching..

Just curious but are you going to use a Heavy hitter clutch kit in the rx-1?

I cant wait to see you guys show those big moose guys how to clutch this sled..

ID Gladly give money to help.. Just tell me when and where to send the check..

Brian..
