Not sure who voted for amsoil 0w30 but it doesn't exist for Power Sport. Only 0w40.
I thought I read somewhere it was citgo but that is 100% not confirmed.
Side note I wonder how many engine failures there has been due to oil? I bet not many

There many rumors but one guarantee is, it is not made by Yamaha.
I have heard Citgo, Mystic, to name a couple but there are more.
My biggest displeasure with Yamalube is the price, it is way over priced imo for what it actually is and what you actually get.
Will your motor Grenade using it? Not likely, but I'd rather use something that I know is good and priced fairly rather than something that is mediocre (based on UOA's & VOA's) and way overpriced. (JMO)
For those running Rotella, what are the cold weather pour points, weights, and what exact oil is it?
It is great oil imo but back before I started using Mobil-1, the pour point was low enough for me on the oils I looked into.

I heard that Citgo/Mystic we're the same company...if they make Yamalube and I can get their full synthetic for 7.99 and Yamalube full Synthetic sells for almost $20 up here somebody is making a good profit!

So maybe the shipping from Japan is why it's so expensive

I am not able to locate anything other than 5w-40... If I could find it in 0 weight I wouldn't have even started this thread...
Here is a video from Shell on it: http://youtu.be/MEaf5ES6Xmg
Also thanks to everyone who has voted and posted!!!

They make it, but might only be available in Canada? If I can find it, then I definitely think I will be using it the not too distant future.

Thanks for posting that youtube link. Pay attention at 2:10 and note the number on the Citgo oil, a rumored manu of Yamalube.

I heard the other day amsoil has been banned in Europe as stating they are a true full synthetic.

I had heard the same thing. Only their sig series is a group 4 and is a true synthetic. I had also read that In Europe only the European formula Mobil one can be sold as a full 100% synthetic

I want 3 votes for Yamalube 0w30 because I have 3 sleds that I use it in. 06 RTX Apex 6700 miles plus, 07 RTX Apex 11,000 miles plus 13 Apex 500 miles plus.

That's what Rotella is, a diesel oil. I ran 15w-40 Rotella Triple Protection in my '68 GTO..... T6 is fully synthetic.

Tried 0w40 amsoil, 0w40 mobile 1 european formula and I am now using Castrol high milage 5w30.
I figure if my 15,500 mile 03 RX1 is going to burn a liter every 500 miles I may as well burn the cheap stuff and also just in case the "high milage" formula may help some. I buy it on sale at Canadian Tire.
