I've been reading all the great reviews for performance upgrades for the winder, I am new to the turbo stuff. I don't want to get into ecu flashing or fueling while in warranty. I've been looking at mod stock muffler by excel or D&D because they are close. I also saw SSI has a decent muffler out with no flash, has anyone tried one yet?

I'm pretty sure that is a newer muffler so chances are no first hand experience with it yet.

The D&D stock muffler mod was used a lot last year in this area, but not too many guys frequent this site that are from around here. I also would love some real life sound and performance info from those who have used it.

The one I saw utilized the stock inlet pipe so all shields can go back on. Not sure about internal size mod but the outlet pipe is 3”. It looks 100% stock with stamp and all. At idle it has a deeper note but not much louder. Not sure about noise level dB wise compared to stock. Pretty sure they had 2 versions last year?

The D&D site does not show anything about their stock mod, just something about their muffler.

excell performance is an advertiser on this site...they have non flash solutions...they are also in NY and install their kit for free!

I had a "no flash" muffler ony sled when I got it. It over boosted like no other and I pulled it off.

Just get the 240 stock muffler tune from hurricane.

Just can't be said enough. PM's don't work on a stock sled.

Not looking to put it on a stock sled

just looking for some reviews on how it sounds , power it makes , and how loud it is
