Anyone with trips to Quebec planned?

I received this message recently, a bummer because I was wanting to go there this year.


"Quebec has banned after market studs on their roads."

This ban has potenial to cause major problems for snowmobile tourism in Quebec. The FCMQ, the tourism industry, hotels and clubs all are voicing oppostion to it. The hope is that sanity will prevail and the regulation will be modified or rescinded. My riding group had two trips planned but we have put on hold to see how this plays out. Quebec trails are second to none but we can change our plans and head to Maine or Ontario if the stud ban sticks.

I agree, they will probably have to amend that decision at some point because the loss of business will be huge.
