Apex 07 Hadlebar Update

I just had the 07 handlebar update installed on my 06 and noticed that they reused my old 06 strap, which looks goofy and will not be very handy sticking up so far. I thought the update was supposed to come with a new shorter strap? Does anybody know about the 07 bars coming with a new shorter strap??

From the middle of the bar where it bolts on to the sled to the top of the strap is 6 inches on my 07, I'm on my fourth set of bars and the strap comes with the new bars each time! (if that helps at all?)

Mine, and all the rest I've seen, came with the new shorter strap

Thank you for confirming what I was thinking. The dealer installed my old strap which is of no use as it is way too long. Asked dealer about this and they said the kit did not come with a strap, but they could order me a new one at my expense. I passed on this offer. So I need to find the shorter strap.
