I ran Hauck air cleaners, key-way, fuel accelerator, & clutch kit. Gained 2 to 4 sled lengths in 1/8 to 1/4 from stop. Stock sled would then barrel past me 1/2 mile plus. Never had great conditions to try to dial in more top end. Air cleaners add a nice bark without being obnoxious. Friends say they miss my bark so i'm going to re-install with fuel accelerator. Not sure if the key or clutches prevented my top end. Glad to answer more questions if you have any...

I have the GHT-R-DUN kit on my 06 Apex RTX and I like it. After I first had it installed I thought the kit was a pooch. Then I brought it back and Pat played with it and woke it up. Now I'm pretty happy with it. I have HOT clutches and you will go through more belts. I miss my cool running yammi clutches. Other than that it's a nice kit. IMO. If I was going to spend that money again, I may go with Ulmer's setup. But Hauck is local for me.
Hope this helps

hauck does most of his tuning with secondary, if your clutches are hot
your probably slipping.

If Pat is local send them back again until you get the cool running clutches with a performance gain !
Thats what you paid for ! Truth of the matter its
very hard to beat stock clutching if everything is set up right because they are spot on when these sleds break in !
If you nail your throttle and she goes right to mid to high 10,600 to 10,900 and the needle sticks and
does not climb or lose RPM's its hard to beat that !
Your clutching is good !
