Just checked my 2012 Apex EX-UP/Power Valve cables are broke. What position does the flipper need to be when wired open?

Horizontal. I had the notch facing backwards. Ended up taking the valve out completely as the wire snapped and closed the valve decreasing fuel mpg and low top end. Runs great now!

MY cables broke on my Ex Up Power Valve. So If I take the valve out will I get better fuel MPG and better top end? How many miles are you getting on a tank?

Right now my fuel mpg sucks. Not sure if its the PCV I added to my airbox mod or not. Runs good though!

I get about 100 miles on a tank down to 2 bars. I use 6 gallons on avg fill and the wifes Vector uses 4.

No, I might go 100-110 miles if I didnt stop and top off. 6 gallons to 70 miles or so. Did better first year with exup crap, used the same gallons as the vector.

the Ulmer header that deletes the EXUP most definitely increases you mpg. my buddy is still running a 2011 apex and would come in about 1/2 gal or less, more fuel used then he cracked the stock header and we had to get the Ulmer one now he comes in about .3 less gal used then my sidewinder. Not a huge amount but still every little bit helps. so in about 10 years the header will pay for itself lol.

I would check driveline I was doing horrible on fuel and found the buttons on my secondary were worn out. that is to much loss

Driveline is good. Buttons, springs, etc. Belt deflection is perfect. All bearings greased, wheels good.
