Are 96 studs enough in a RTX?

I had my dealer stud my RTX for me last week. They put 96 Woodies Golddigger 1.325" double backed (48 pairs) in the center rib of the track. They said this would be fine for the type of riding that I do. I don't race my sled (except for the couple of times this season just to see how the new Apex does against my buddies sleds). I am not a throttle jockey, just a semi-agressive trail rider. I'm mainly get my sleds studded for the safety factor when riding up or down an icy hill on the heavily traveled trails in wester NY. My concern stems from my '03 RX1 which had 144 (single backed) studs in it, and after 5100 miles I've had 6 or 7 pull through. Will the 96 be ok in the RTX because they are double backed, or should I add more?

Were your pullouts on the outside bands?

You probably have enough if you are not pinning the throdle after every corner.

If you want to add another 48, it would probably better for you track...IMO

I ran 126 in my Warrior over 2 seasons with excellent results, up the middle , none on the outside.
