I cant see anything, its so tight in there. Pretty frustrating. Maybe Ill just throw in the towel for the year and cancel our trip next week.....

Just spray the whole thing with FLEX SEAL.
I have a decent short block that does not leak oil. Might need to polish up one piston tho.

Its all over the waterpump coolant hoses!?! Its a mystery how it could get there.

Yes I saw some glowing oil specks on the side of the frame (behind the clutch) so its spraying somehow. No idea how. After getting the water pump out there is no rotating shaft there so I have no idea!

I do see glowing oil under the 1 bolt that hold the crankcase halves together, I put a wrench on that when it was out and yanked hard and it didn't budge. There is also a goofy Allen head there and I have no idea what that is for. I also put a wrench on it and again tight as heck. I'm going to goop both locations with a pile of RTV after a good brake kleening and see if I can slow it down. I think I can do this with the engine installed.
Also going to try some 10w40 semi syn oil vs the 0W40 full syn yamalube water and see if it helps get through one trip anyway. Might even try some blue devil oil stop leak now too. Engine is coming out for a refresh this summer anyway so I can't lose I lose....oh wait never mind on losing LOL (snow gods hate me right now)

Did you get a good look at the main oil feed hose, I had one that split past the clamp and was leaking pretty bad in the area you're talking about
