Last wkend an 07 attack with airbox mod and fuel controller got 123mph on gps running with 22/38 gearing reving 10700rpm. A buddy also tested his 06 apex comparing 23/38 and 22/38 gearing and found that the 22/38 was better everywhere! Better acceleration and backship vs 23/38. Also sleds with 1" hacksaws with 96 studs vs 1.25 ripsaw have a 2 length advantage out of the gate on all conditions except really loose snow conditions. Sleds were various apexes/attacks with airbox mods and fuel controllers. One sled was a new 2011, dead stock, and it was the slowest of the bunch.

WOW, 123 mph on gps, that's the fastest speed I have seen on here, congratulations I think you set a new ty 4 stroke speed record!!!
Anywho, I wouldn't be to sure it was the 22t gear that was putting you ahead of the Apex's because for some strange reason the Attak's are much quicker & faster than the Apex, mainly due to the there skid. I have a 07 RTX with 22/38 gearing & sure as heck ain't gonna see no 123mph on the gps, maybe 123 on the speedo on a good day! Unfortunatly my skid slows me down.
As far as the slow 2011, it will wake up after it is broke in,

The old ones had between 5000/7000km the new one had 1500km.....give Grunt a call
