Looking for new gear and wondering what the best KLIM series is for aggressive trail riding? When I first read about the Stealth line I thought that was what I would be getting, but of the limited reviews, it seems that it is pretty drafty and really designed for hardcore mountain riding. I ride trial 90% of the time in temps that range from -20F to +40F. I am not interested in Motor Fist just because I do not like their design style, so please keep your suggestions limited to KLIM. Thanks in advance!

Do you run into times when you wish the jacket wasn't insulated?

I have the storm which is a shell type jacket. while they say it is for boondocking I would never buy another insulated jacket. I ride trails a lot in similar temps as you. I rode at -15 the other day and all I had on under my coat was a lightweight fleece sweatshirt and I was plenty warm. these uninsulated jackets give you so much more flexibility.

Don't look at the Vector jacket. Not enough vents and was too hot. Sold mine after one ride with. Bought a Castle X jacket and love it. Lots of vents for half the cost of a Klim. To be fair, I am wearing an EVS vest with these jackets.

Rarely, but it has good ventilation system.

I use the tomahawk parka with either Everest or inferno midlayer then just a moisture wicking turtleneck it works great and tons of variations for weather.
