hi guys I'm looking to ditch my tuner 3s on my LTX sidewinder and looking for the best trail ski I ride about 90% trails with the other 10% being open fields, lakes and rivers . I've been searching and it seems what everyone thought was the best skis a few years ago doesn't still stand today
Thanks

Tuners work the best for me on my Apex.

I'm just a moderate speed trail cruiser and would like to know the same thing.

I have used USI Triple threats with dually shaper bar for the last 3 years with great success.

I also hear nothing but positive talk about Curves, but I've never had the opportunity to try them out.

I have USI projectX skis with stud boy 8" shaper bars.... it turns ! Just replaced the bars this year... 8500 miles on the last set.

I loved the old mountain ski with either snowtrackers when trail conditions are good or stud boy dually's when trails are marginal (due to their robustness). I'm going to try snowtrackers on the tuner 3 this year and then also see how my USI X2's with dually's do on the sidewinder and see which is better. Once stud boy releases dually's and snowtracker releases their system for the new sidewinder mountain ski I'm going to give them a try also.

Anyone know the part number for the USI Triple Threat 6 inch carbides

MCB right now has the stud boy deuce bars on clearance, $70 for a pair of the 6" ones I think? That is about half price. Part number for the Deuces is USI-D2214-60. I'd run the Deuce's before I ran standard shapers because they don't dart and last forever.

I've had C&A, Simmons gen 1, skidoo pilots and Slydogs. Now I run snowtrackers on my stock skis, best set up so far.
