Here is a question for you guys. I put the cat rollers in my sled. Also set my secondary up to 6-1. Now I was running r/r grade last weekend and the snow was thin base with semi setup snow but not hard. Now if I would pin the throttle on long stretch the sled would rip to 90 and climb to 98. It seemed like it was falling on its face up top. Now if I would slowly roll into the throttle and eas it up I would run 80 mph at half throttle. Something seemed off to me. Now on hard packed road I could get into the 100s with eas. Would this be the spring binding or just soft snow conditions? I'm on a Rtx Le with 180 studs.

Soft soft snow eats a ton of power on this chassis not sure how it effects the winder. But my viper 15 gps mph slower in the soft stuff vs a hard set up trail. Here is a question for you guys. Yes that is most likely spring bind.

You can add .060 thick washers to the tower bolts before putting helix on. Just make sure the washers done get pinched crooked, sometimes you have to grind a small flat on them. Or better yet get the spring pocket on your secondary machined.

I may have one of the good ones & will check offset & center to center tomorrow. 6-1 for spring & OSP clutch tool. 500 miles, NO dust, never got hot, seeing 9200-9300 rpm's on many runs. I pinned the BEJESUS out of it for 300 of those miles with wide open until the boys climbed inside to hide (mostly to stay warm). 109 on speedo so far. Have AC rollers to put on so will check dimensions & flat spots. Hope i'm not premature, but my signs are good so far...

Agreeded,nos-pro hit the nail on the head I think.clean break so to speak? That's pretty much what's happening to the ones that are breaking.. Primary pulls and secondary wont open anymore and =bang. Spring bind in secondary and inconsistent helixes/ maybe even springs causing most it seems
