Anybody else experience this? When going on low rpms like 5-6000 and hitting it i sometimes experience a short BOG..

Is this because of to little gas from the FI?

Mine doesnt either but I know on my 4 stroke bikes if you whack the throttle wide open from idle its bogs right out and they are jetted perfect. Something to do with the accelerator pump. Not sure if these motors have them.

injected engines do not have an accelerator pump. how many miles do you have on it? my attak was kinda sluggish and boggy til i got 1000 or so miles on it. after it was fully broke in it ran very strong, every time i rode it it ran better than the last time. only have 47 on the nytro and i kinda expected the same.

I have app 280km on it. If i go slow or let of the trottle and then hammer it, It feels like it has a 2 step acc.. 1st secund it is like 80hp and after that it is full effect...

Hope it is because it isnt really broken in...

Hi, i have 800km on mine and it still bogs:-( What dealer do you have? i also live in norrbotten sweden

Your probably lean. Mine does it occaisonaly also. I have a fuel accelerater on order to add more fuel down low.

I hope everyone that has the problem talk to their dealer so Yamaha will look at the mapping to solve the problem...

Turk please let me know how it goes...

It sounds as though this is a side affect of the Engine Brake Reduction System (EBRS). This info was posted over on the Turbo/Supercharger side by Hammer....

"The engine braking control is actually only part of a new system called ISC (Idle Speed Control). The heart of which is an electronically controlled air-valve in the intake tract, which has the ability to override the throttle setting to control idle speed as determined and executed by the ECU (digital ignition /engine control module). Okay so what the heck does this all mean? Simply put the computer analyzes engine RPM, coolant temperature and throttle (buterfly) position information taken from dedicated sensors. It then operates the intake air (ISC) valve to add or reduce air to the cylinder. This is a multi-function system. When the engine is cold, the valve opens to advance (raises) the RPM until the coolant warms at which time it adjusts air flow (closes) to hold a constant 1500rpm idle speed. When engine RPM is high and the throttle valve is shut, the ISC valve is rapidly cycled, allowing precisely measured amounts of air in, relieving the vacuum or ‘pumping’ action created by the intake pulling against the closed throttle valves"

Mine stumbled quite a bit coming off idle on my first ride with it. I only have about 80 miles on it, so I just chalked it up to being new.
