Your new header looks promising, wider tubing with thicker walls, the collector looks strong too.

I had my header crack as well, but not nearly as bad as the cracked one you're about to repair.

Brought my header to work today...

I is confused...that's not the header I see you installing in a previous post...is that the header that came with the sled when you bought it (ie previous owner put on)??

Sorry for the confusion......Yes that is the Orginial Header, as I replaced it with a different header. But I had a few people ask me If I was going to repair it as there was interest in purchasing it ...of course dirt cheap as I was going to just toss it anyways.

Jan... the T.T. Header weighs 10lbs and the original weighs 4.9lbs
... the T.T. uses 308SS & the other one is 304SS
... the T.T. IS A TRUE 4 into 1 [at the turbo] header, looks like it flows better and would make more power.


I'm very happy with what I've seen so far from both them & the header

I bet your Wondering right about now.....which just happens to be 3:17 AM Wednesday....WHAT IS HE DOING NOW .....Yep; Painting Skis of course....NO ONE makes WHAT I WANT......Besides more satisfaction doing your own thing, as I bet NO ONE ELSE is painting their own skis.

I'm really wondering where this build is going, and what it will end up as!!

Some people walk into a show room and just buy a sled.......4 Me.....I Invision that sled the way I see it.....Then RIDE IT LIKE YOU STOLE IT


Go back and look at my last build, my 08 Apex LTX GT Ann. That was Yamaha's Classiest sled ever...I just took it to the next level without loosing focous of just that.

Remember what my build here is based off of.....the old SRX.....which was a BAD #*$&@ SLED which dared you to ride it and KICKED EVERYONE elses #*$&@ doing it. This is the 20th century version of that sled......A RTX-T a BAD #*$&@ sled that will ROCK YOUR WORLD and CRUSH EVERYTHING in it's Path other than J.M's sled So it has to look HOTT & and have the Power to Back It Up Homes that's all
