broken pivot for chain adjuster 08 Apex

Hey has anyone ever fixed one of these ?The pivot broke off when I was trying to loosen the nut on the top shaft. Looks like it could be welded but I am always open to options.

We had one user weld it back in. I think he also added a small bolt from the backside of the chain-case.

I used a small bolt too,on rx1

I had it welded on the inside and plug welded the back and then drilled right thru and ran a bolt thru the whole thing.
