Tell me again, what causes these to break? I have a 4-wheel setup in back. Once you tighten the outside bolts after aligning or tensioning the track, the axle is locked in place solid. How can there be enough force against this cheap zinc die cast part to break it?
I ordered some billet ones but don't understand why the stock ones
break?

Just the way it is on some of the cheap China parts Cat used. Just not strong enough with the adjuster bolt against it, just another piece of poor engineering and parts selection from Cat.
I put GripNRip billet adjuster on mine last fall to replace the broken Cat China built ones and all is well there now. Lots of stuff to replace and go thru from the front to back on the ProCross and this is one of them as you have found.

Nope the wheel washer ain’t gonna bend!
(American Bolts too!)
Not without a few hard hits tho.
Consider the track has got to pull across the rear axle........ the power of 300hp on a couple little 20mm bearings and hollow plastic wheels.....JT’s last forever new wheels going inside for next year!

OCD, you can either worry about money or worry about reliability, but not both!
Personally I would rather worry about money.....bust out the credit card.

I hear ya but atleast a seat heater isn’t gonna leave you stranded.
Lots of stuff is engineered like $hit nowadays, gotta just fix it.
