Broken RTX

A fellow I know last week driving down Lake of Bays and driving casually Broke.. He stopped got off his sled and it was puking oil out of the bottom pan.. Apparantley a rod decided it didnt want to be apart of the motor any more... OUCH.. This is the first I heard of any motor problems. What about you guys.

Hey guys...wow,ironically enough Me and my bud were hanging out over yakking with Our bud at the dealer Sat about noon,,when sure enough a RTX comes on on truck....we saw a HOLE in bottom of cases and you could see a broken connecting rod...

Not sure the WHOLE answer on this but Im thinking ALL mass produced motors MUST have SOME failures from time to time....and from what i heard there were ZERO failures up until now..If thats true then yammie can hold there heads higher then any other OEM...

There may be more to this story too...?????...who knows?

There have been a few go bad. VERY few.

My Candian rep told me last year that, they could count on one hand how many engine failures there were on the RX-1 and that is all cross Canada.

Compared to BRP this is nothing....I can count about 5 machs alone have let go just buds of mine!...LOL...i wonder how many DOO motors have failed???....gotta be in the thousands for sure.
