Well after almost burning up a set of dupont slids i decided to add some extra wheels to my xtx skid. I will add more if necessary later but for now i think this will be a huge improvement. All i used was arcticat wheel mounts an drilled my skid for them.

How in the world are you burning up DuPont slides? Are you riding all ice? Have you tried scratchers? Wheels are fine but nothing beats proper lubrication.

I have over 4.000 miles on my Duponts. Yes before next year I will replace. Polaris wheels are a big help. Xtx 144 nytro.

Ya i know. Its actually only in one spot. Our trails now have been hit with rain an froze to no lubrication or hard to find soft snow. I tried to load picts butthe file is to large. The spot i put em will help lots. I was heating them up mostly wjen traveling fast on open stretches for long times. I could feel them sticking. Ha ha...

I have 2650+ miles on the OEM slides.. No scratchers or added wheels from stock. I'll ride the rest of this year and probably next year without change...

i got 8000 kms on stock sliders

Get some scratchers. I got the ice storm scratchers on my xtx and I love them.
