Hello everybody, I was wondering if anyone sells a bushing kit for the rear skid that may be better than stock. Also the front too since the rear is worn out so bad I'm assuming the front will be shot too. Sorry I don't respond to much on here but I have dial up internet out here in the country and it takes forever to even get on the net. Thank you for any answers I really do appreciate the knowledge you all share. Darrell - Its an 05 rx1 by the way

Pioneer performance, has a bushing kit they sell. It does miss a few in the front end however. Worked well on mine. I rebushed at 4000 miles and have another five now. They appear to be OK. Good luck, and welcome to the site!! Honk

IMO their oilite bushings are the way to go. Bushings are in the Accessories tab.

All of the replacement bushings are a variety of plastics. Over the past summer, I replaced every plastic bushing is the skid of an 03 RX1 with either phosphor bronze or oilite bushings which I made. I took all of the aluminum shafts which had a lot of wear on them, turned down the ends where the bushings ride on them and sleeved that region with stainless steel. I reinforced the W arm, blasted and powder coated every piece and now its time to put it back together. It should now go 10K miles before a bushings wears out. I which someone would make a kit for this.

I did the rear suspension this year at 8K+ miles, Several we looking crappy. One was worn through. There are a lot more bushings than you would think.
I started with OEM cause I was thinkin' I was just changing a few. Ended up paying out more than if I would have got the kit, even with a good discount on OEM. Moral to the story: If you got over 8K miles, get a kit and plan on replacing most of them.
