Buy a new YAMAHA ?

Doos have a whole mess of problems too. Skis suck, motor breaks, bad gas mileage etc. Yamaha has to step up next year and lose weight that robs horsepower. Yami suspension is not even close to skidoo or polaris but it's getting better each year. Just think of an Apex weighing in around 450 lbs!

I bumped into a guy last night at the gas station that just blew up a new Doo 4 stroke. It only had 7 miles on it when it blew.. I hope his warrentee covers it.

my buddy bought back his MACH Z for $170,hit a drain pipe that was hidden under the snow,was'nt that bad,he just straighted his bars, bought a ski,leftside a-arms,shock,and patched his belly pan,put the insurance money in his pocket.this was 2yrs ago! he's still ridin it!!

For those of you who hate the Yamaha suspension ,But love your Yamaha,,,,,

Hygear did a wonderful job on all 3 of our sleds
07 Apex RTX , 07 apex GT, 08 Nytro RTX

there is a night and day difference !!!!

Now the handwarmers are another issue!

Question directed at AIRWOLF - I see that you installed the Hygear trail pro package on your GT. I have done the same and just re installed everything including renewing all bushes ect. Did you have any problem getting the 40-45mm of sit in. I cant get more than 33mm with the preload completely screwed back to max spring length. Friend of mine says take it out and ride it and it should set in ?? Did you have any problem with this? Thanks.

Well I finally got everything settled with the insurance company and bought the sled back for $1700 and bought the 07 blizzard 800.What my plans are for the rtx I'm thinking of making it into a radar run sled.

Bet Doo has the supercharger on the 1200 next year too. I'm watching very closely the reports on Doo Talk on the 1200 and HCS on the Z1 turbo. good and bad points on both. Wish I could manufacture a sled that had the best of all of them.

On the trail already. 2 protos all over the NEast. u just cant tell ..look like a stock 1200.

A pulley swap away from 200, I'm sure.
