No way!

I'm using Quaker State 5-30 Ultimate Durability full synthetic. Rated right up there with the best performing oils on 540Rat blog for best wear protection. The dudes done the work and ranks the oils for wear protection. Good reading on his blog! Certain Amsoil oils are right up there too, but not all.

gonna go with the same oil , grabbed a 5 litre jug at wallys today 48 bucks cdn funds, pretty decent! would anyone happen to know the preferred gear oil for the chaincase? will need to fill once i replace that top gear, i have 75 90 full synthetic i run in differential in truck wondering if thatll work?

Not sure if you already picked up a used Winder or not but many of them out there have been updated by previous owners. It just a matter of asking the right questions when purchasing.

If I were is the market for a used I would look for one with updates done and maybe a 240 tune in it and be done...

X2..
It will be fine to use, quantity is the most important part.
ok , what would the proper capacity be? would a little xtra hurt?

got the sled out and replaced top gear, put brass shift forks , tach welded tension roller bolts, changed oil , all went well , except thats one mf of a mess to drain oil, has anyone hole sawed a hole in body underneath then used a body plug to fill to make that less messy? also noticed coolent was a bit down would like to get a jug to have on hand, spec sheet and owner manual says use a good quality ethal glycol automotive coolent, would 50/50 long life work? red stuff , or what is thd best correct stuff to get thanks
