My Sidewinder's mileage varies a lot depending upon temperature, trail conditions, and how much I am on the throttle. I have never gotten less than 12.1 or 12.2 mpg, and my best was 14.5. I am one of those guys who checks my mileage every tank (as well as my buddy's). He has a 2019 with the 1.6" track, and he consistently gets worse mileage than I do. Running 60-70-80 miles, he will take about 1/2 gallon more at fill up.

I'm sure alot has to do with the tank size. I am 90% trail riding so I hope that works better for me on milage. I know you dont buy a sidewinder for the long distance runs. My guess is with the turbo on the sled they can not use the 13.7 gallon tanks that the transporter uses. Being honest I wish that was the color on the viper. Just my opinion.
What I find is the adjustable shocks end up being adjusted once and then stay in that setting. Most that have them set them and leave em.
So true!

That was my perspective with the QS3R's initially, but as time and miles have mounted, in varied conditions I find that I am changing the settings regularly. This past weekend we went from hard, flat, frozen trails to soft trails with lots of loose snow, and finally to some bumps. I started on medium, then firmed it up on the loose stuff to bite in the corners, and then softened it up again on the bumps. When I am on small "stutter bumps", I generally put it on the softest setting, and I don't even feel the bumps through my handlebars. If you have QS3's, you aren't using them to their fullest potential unless you are doing some shifting. So true!

I paid $13500 for my 2020 Ltx gt. Plus extra $400 for extended warranty for up to 5 years. Had a 2014 Apex xtx...was hesitant going to sidewinder. Jist got it 2 weeks ago so rode once for 160 miles. Extremely impressed and happy with purchase. Love the shocks on it. I like red so glad I grabbed a 2020 over waiting for 2021s. There still a few left and dealers in NY are willing to deal. Trying to talk my wife into a matching red viper...but she likes her 14 vector ltx

I am a fan of the red. Have some red muscle cars in the garage with the SW. So it fits in nicely!!
It's Official! I grabbed the 2020 L-TX SE for 12,999. I pick it up Saturday.
Need to make a warranty decision now. It will come with Two years. Dealer said I can add coverage at his cost if I like. I believe he said around $340 to make it 3 years and 700ish to make it four years. I was driving so I couldn't write it down.

Nice! I talked to the dealer again and they are offering me the 4 years of YES for $460. I guess I'm inclined to do it but im a little confused about the start time. If I buy it now am I wasting the The original warranty time or does it not not take effect until the original ends? I guess I'll have to get some clarification.

the extended starts when the original warranty ends. I checked my YES statement I just received and all went into effect obviously the day I took delivery.

I am so envious of those who love their winders. Mine is junk.
