When I purschased the Viper XTX, I put a set of C&A Pro XTX's for the look and flotaison. The heavier steering feel of all my life, like a 10 wheels without power steering, even with Bergstrom ski savers and stronger skid spring! So put back the stock Cat ski's, it was better but not as I wanted and darted like crazy. Had to try my Polaris Gripper skis, now something good, but it could be better.
So I finally decide to try the SnowTacker's semi-agressive on the stock Arctic-Cat ski's since I had heard so much good thing about.
What a world of difference!!
No joke, It feel the same as a EPS Apex! I found it almost unbeliveable!
At first I was always surprise to overturn the handle bars in the corners.
Can't say enough that I am VERY happy with the results! Now I can really enjoy the Viper and tell people asking that it is the best overall riding sled I ever owned.
The direction is so precise and ZERO darting!
On rails!!
I know it corner pretty well for a 141", but now it is way better!
Happy sleeding! :D

I run the same.

I edited the first post TD. SnowTracker semi-agressive on the stock Arctic-Cat mountain skis that come on the 2014 Viper XTX.
They work aswell on a 2014 LTX with the stock Arctic-Cat trail skis.
Very nice steering feel, presice handling and no darting.

I have semis on my stock ski very lite feel 0 darting odd time very little push in corners. Have yet to try my new tuners,(if it ain't broke why fix it) wondering if aggressive would be slightly better???

I'm currently running Pilot 5.7's. I heard that the Snowtrackers worked well so I a bought a set back before Christmas. I guess I will have to bolt them on the stock skis and try them out.

I ran Snow Trackers on my Nytro and my Phazer. They worked very well almost all conditions. When riding very aggressively they pushed a little. Especially on icy trails. And they don't do anything to improve the lousy powder performance of the stock skis. That's why the Viper got Curves.

I have the aggressive's on my RTX and I love them. It's the only thing I have found that makes this sled turn instead of push through corners. I have the front track shock let out almost all the way and the steering is still very easy.

Little bit of history,
At the beginning of the season I put the RTX/LTX front skid spring hoping to reduce ski pressure, but I did not really notice a change.
Now since I got the steering feel I wanted with the Snowtrackers, I put back in my stock 110lbs front skid spring, because I feeled the rear skid was too stiff. It rides and handle the bumps better with the 110lbs and I think Yamaha put that one for something on the XTX. Maybe a stiffer spring could work better for the average rider, but at 145pounds, I am light and going stiffer than 110lbs on the front skid spring it too much.

Another thing: I had the time to work on the C&A XTX skis.
Bergstrom sent me a pair of Ski Savers to try if it would reduce the steering effort. Negative
Finally, I found that every skis systems that were steering easy have shorter wear bars. Just look at the Snowtracker, Polaris gripper, etc.
The C&A have 17" of straight wear bar on the ground, so I decided to cut I cut 2¼" of the wear rod and ski saver on the front, and cut 2" of wear rod and ski saver on the rear. I also radiused and smoothed the front of the wear rod on a lenght of 1½". This give me a deeper and shorter ski keel than the original C&A profile. So far I am really happy with the results! I let them on the Viper and will probably keep the stock skis with SnowTrackers for more trail touring when does'nt need flotaison. I think I ended up with two great set-up!
