A poster here said we don't have motor cyle style wet clutches so energy conserving oils are o.k. It that right?
That manual must be a misprint. Check the latest ones and I bet they've corrected it.
somewhere I saw that you're not supposed to use oil with "friction modifiers" as it raises heck with the starter clutch. I haven't researched why that would be. Otherwise, yeah it would be fine in a sled motor.
I have used Mobil 1 0w30 in my 06 Attak since 500 miles. Just turned over 10,000 this past weekend and have had no problems. My manual says to use 0w30.
