question, just doin some preseason maintenance, spent the better part of the day on this 21 sw.. installed a complete new clutch kit,put a bop oil tank gasket in, removed chaincase cover , inspected, adjusted, oil change etc etc, started it up all was good until it looks like my break rotor is wet... its not bk fluid, smells like gear oil ... is it possible for the magenet in the chaincase to leak by?

I would say 'yes' it's possible. I kinda was wondering same thing. Once that plastic plug with magnets has been in and out a bunch of times, does it still seal 100%?

Had you pulled the magnet plug when you serviced? Just fill the shaft and plug the brake rotor side. Oil filled driveshaft to dampen harmonics...maybe it will quiet the clutch noise.....ha

I ususally wipe the plug and end of track shaft with acetone then apply some gasket sealer before pushing the plug in.
