What is best way to clean the oil and sludge out of the intercooler?

I just use hot, soapy (Dawn dish soap) water. Since its the oil that's harder to get out, some guys use an engine degreaser. It comes out easy IMO. I finish by lots of flushing with hot water until it's nice and clear.
I wanted it dry when I put it back on so I let it dry for a day (even setup and ran a hair dryer on warm for a few hours). I did mine last when I did the rollover valve delete and hose vent. Since then, every time I've checked, my intercooler, boost tubes, intake, throttle bodies, and crossover tube (from air cleaner to turbo) were bone dry. No sludge, no oil film, no water vapor.

Thanks. Was not sure if washing with dish soap would work as well as degreaser but that is what I will do.Just put in a oil catch can after I got the updated heated rov done and did not want the goop going back into intake track.Decided to check the intake and intercooler to see if anything in it and of course like others have also found just dripping with oil and have about 1/2 cup in intercooler.

Ok don’t bash me. The inter cooler is at the front of sled correct? I’ve never gone in there. After each weekend I open the airfilter assembly above the clutch pull the foam off and wipe out that area.

Yes,at front of sled looks like a radiator, not to bad to take out 10-12 screws,2 clamps and a couple of spring clips at bottom holding it in.

Remove it and flush with gasoline then let it dry for a few days
