Yes sir , ,straight 38. Straight 37 would be very good also imo. 200o miles on with set up. NO BLOWN BELTS.
what did you do up in primary to keep rpms up? Any slippage on primary?
I have tried to break the 8dn. No luck. Not holding for 5 minutes or anything like that. But just hammering it at every speed imaginable.
I agree here, the 8dn with its length, I set deflection up similar to a DOO belt, to get it perfect(remove one shim) and have not hurt it. Still went 125.2 on stalker gun, so assuming +3mph with 8jp as others have said they are worth 3mph with shorter belt.
Id like to test a shallower start to hold RPMS up on trail, for more bottom/corner to corner snap.

35/37 would give you best of both worlds right? Is it machined for the springs better and so the OD works?

Had NOS machine primary for a smidge overdrive. Also my secondary pocket. AND machined for 8dn belt. I have ZERO slippage up top it holds and even gains just 100 rpm. BOTH clutch sheaves clean as a whistle. 2400 miles and it's a beast. 850 is not even remotely close out of the hole or rolling. The biggest thing that I like and feel is the pull when whacking it at 60-70. I also took 2mm off the top of my helix hub

You get yours dialed? Mine scared me a bit today on a plowed road. I raced a guy and pulled the skis at like 75mph. Got squirrel like on me. 0-100 it's just amazing. 330 miles yesterday and today. Hate to say it but I sold mine. Got more than what I paid for it minus some goodies. I like that murdered tcat for next year. You know the sled that has inferior clutching? Lol. Already have the gears for it and the belt I will be using.

What are you running in the primary? What wrap on the secondary?just did 127 speedo with steeper helix. Then stock. No doubt in my mind steeper is better. Stock gears. TD ECO TRAIL. TDturbo force muffler. Snapped skis off @75 mph on hard packed road. 137 coupled skid. 192 nails.
