Trails were AWESOME!!!!, and the food was even better!!!!!!!

Great riding with Dean, Jeff, Rabbit, Z-Doc, JayBird, Bruiser, and Cheech!

Wish I had pictures, but I was enjoying these trails too much!

Same to you Terry, you are always welcome on our trips! The trails were fantastic, I wish I could go back up this weekend!

Tom we were going to fast to take pictures. LOL

I ended up with 778 miles from Thursday noon to Sunday noon and probably ten pounds from all the food Terry was talking about. :exc:

Cobalt
:-o

Picture the trails better than in Canada..... Not joking!

Never have I been to da UP with trails that nice before.

Cobalt (and others) - we didn't make it up until Sunday and then we rode most of the day Monday - just got back this afternoon - trails were great, but we like to do alot of off trail riding - everywere we went was "virgin" - I think it is the earliest I have rode in the U.P. (other than a short burst down the road on Thanksgiving one year) - here are two of the only pics I got - I too was too busy riding!!!! - we'll hook up this year for sure!!!! ;)!

Yammiman we will be up in January and I will send you a PM, we would love to have you join us!

I sure would love to take the SRX for a spin?? I loved both of mine, especially the 01.

Cobalt
:-o

Cobalt - no problem on the SRX ride!! - my 01 has less than 300 miles on it!!! - no matter which one the kid was on, he would beat me by 6-8 lengths - he only weighs about 150 - guess I need to loose some weight! - January sounds good - if there is snow, I start going up almost every weekend - stay in touch and I'll buy you a cold one at the Bear Trap!! ;)!

Man, I wish we could have met up with you Yammiman, but I hear ya,....too busy riding to take pictures!

Yammiman, I should've sent you a PM to see when you were going up.. I went up with a group of guys from work Sun-Tues instead of going with Cobalt and the other guys like I normally do. Would've been cool to see some of the spots you do off trail riding! Maybe next time.

Mr. Sled - I rode the same trails as Cobalt and NOSPRO, but only a couple of days later. I'll see if I have any good pics I can post.

NOSPRO and marq - the winter is young - we will have to stay in touch and do some riding together - I have a place just outside of Melstrand and I go up quite a bit during the winter - look forward to hooking up!!! ;)!

Yammiman and Marq I was hoping to head up on the weekend of the 4th or 5th of January?? Marq, I will be talking to your dad tonight or tomorrow about this weekend. With all the holiday plans that is the soonest I will be able to skip town for some riding :o| .

Yammiman, we went to the store in Melstrand on Saturday night and the guy comes out and says we only have thirty gallons of gas left, I was just a little nervous about getting back!! We just made it, we went to the Beartrap for dinner then took 8 to 88 then down past the Hot Dog stand, back across to 422 to 475 down to McMillan and on to Curtis (Pine Bluff) by roads and fields. It's always better when the big lake freezes and you can cut across to the Old Seney Road and then up 450.

Sunday we took a run to Seney and Kelly whipped up one of the best breakfasts we have ever had over at Andys Seney Bar! I highly recommend it.

Yammiman I will send you a PM before we leave with phone numbers!

Cobalt
:-o

Cobalt - I'll just be coming back about that time - we are planning on going up between Christmas and New Years and probably coming back on New Years day
Funny you talked about the gas thing - we made a run toward Melstrand on Monday afternoon to get some fuel and when we got to 450 there was a sign on the stop sign that said he was out of fuel - we turned back to the cabin and barely made it on fumes!!!

My group almost got burned as I had planned to get gas in Melstrand too. We ended up going to Shingleton. It was bumpy but snow covered.
