Ok finally got around to installing the autotune tonight. I used your advice about drilling the hole in the shield, I ended up drilling a 1 1/8 hole and using heat tape as the grommet. The grommets I got didn't work and I didn't want to use something that wouldn't start on fire or melt, so I figured heat tape would work fine. I do have one big question though, were did you run the wiring and the big azz connector for the autotune??? The only place that looks to fit is under the tank but the wires would get pinched. I think I might drill/notch out the tank toward the rear were the seat clips under it to run the wires. Then it would run up the tank perfect without being in the way of the seat. I could also zip tie the big connector to the tank too. Would notching the tank cause any problems? The part I would alter is only for the seat latch under so I think it would be good to go.
Another thing I noticed is the CAN cable is a joke! Any movement and the cable pops right out. How does dynojet think this will be acceptable for use on a motor vehicle? I will have to zip tie that so it can't come out.

Also where did you tie in your switchable 12v power for the autotune?
As far as power goes tie it into the taillight. The one that has constant power with the key on. Believe its blue? As far as wiring routing if you look at the bottom of your seat there is a rectangular void. If you mount the 02 connection sideways to the tunnel, believe its about 3 inches from the heat shield it fits in it perfect and the seat comes on and off no problems. Then you can just run the autotune wiring up the side of the tank in the factory looms with the taillight wires. Works great this way and does not interfere with anything.

Thanks for the help, it was the blue wire too. This is how I ended up mounting it after looking at it for a while and your idea's. I used one of the holes for the clips to hold the brake wire, the prong type fitting was already on the connector. It fits perfect under there, wish the wire going to the autotune box was a little bit longer but it works fine like it is. I might add a zip tie to the connector to make sure it stays put but don't think it needs it.
