Now laughing at my self at the time I thought my new to me Apex was going to have electrical trouble.
Just finished studding and Star suspension upgrade....swapped into Viper Dave’s Star set up....and went to start the Apex to align track and DEAD. I mean check kill switch-OK, nothing no gauge, fuel pump NOTHING. So check battery -maybe I or the grandkids left something on awhile later it’s OK, checked the fuses all OK yet DEAD.
Then I remember last spring thinking about leaving the ignition switch unplugged so the grand kids can’t do anything to it - I didn’t do that did I?
Yes I did.
Take the panel off and there lies the ignition wires UNPLUGGED like a good Yami she fires right up after plugging it in.
I hope this helps others to just laugh at ourselves.....

With all the new toys out like the Power Wheels Jeeps and ATV's kids kind of know how to jump on any thing and try to get it to go ! I think you did a smart thing by unplugging the switch.

I hear ya.. life can be complicated and crap happens. Especially with Grandkids around. We get out of our routine that keeps us on an even keel. It takes me days to clean up after they've come to visit.

I am not in the habit of pushing the red killswitch when shutting things off. Never do it on my motorcycles either. I usually reach straight for the key and switch it off.
Went to show off my new sled to a buddy, turn on the key....nothing!
Grrrrr. Better hook up the battery tender and charge it awhile, then I can....Oh.....wait.....Let me check something here....
Doh!!!
Pop the killswitch, turn the key....ROAR!
