I think it's going to be hard to find anybody that actually tried both. They both seem to work great from reviews so I don't think too many people have gotten one then switched to the other. Maybe a few people have one and a friend the other so they can compare that way. I went with curves last year before there was much talk about the Mohawks. I'm very happy with them. Number 1 best thing I've done to the sled so far. I don't think you can go wrong either way.

How are Curves in the deep? How wide are they? I have them on order, waiting for them to arrive

I have a lot of miles on both. They are both 2 of my favorite skis, but I prefer the Mohawks on and off trail so I got rid of the Curves.

Has anyone used the curve XSM? We do some backcountry riding as well, what I see theyre still good on the trail but better floation.

Everything. They are a more flexible ski which some may may like and some may not. The Mohawks felt like I put on softer suspension just due to the give. Off trail they float much better , turn easier, and just work better in my opinion. On trail they feel a little more predictable to me and work great, though the Curves did a great job. Absolutely no darting though I rarely had any with Curves. It boils down to personal preference. I never preferred any traits of the Curves over the way Mohawks do it. I know Curves are pushed and sponsored big time on this site. I am a big of SLP skis but if I wasn't using them, I would go back to Curves over C&A, which I ran many years, or most other skis I have used. Both are 2 of the best skis in the business. Throw those stock Tuner and Cat skis in the trash.

Whether it is the Bergstrom ski-savers, the shimming, or just the design of the Mohawk, I experienced the "absolutely no darting" aspect of the Mohawks on my Viper. My riding buddy rode my Viper a couple of times last year, and was not all that impressed with the handling using stock Tuners; last week he got on my sled for a few miles, all he could say was, "nice skis, nice skis!"

I think they were really easy to install. you have to put the saddle on the spindle first before you attach the skis. I thought they were way easier than my stokers with shims.the saddle bolts did not line up at first but i just dropped that side that needed to go up on a 2x4 and it lined up perfectly it took me maybe a 1/2 hour for total install. How were the Mohawks to install read some that the Curves has some issues

had my curves for two nytro and now two vipers and they are hands down the best mod for the sled! they put the viper on rails and work good in the powder. I just ran a 6" single bar with the 4"LE and have no darting. a good set of skis are the best bang for the buck mod you can do.

I agree that the Mohawks were an easy installation. While the Curves saddle is molded plastic and part of the ski, the Mohawks have a metal saddle that you bolt onto the ski using your carbides. I just used the hardware that came with the saddle, and everything seemed to fit my Viper perfectly. How were the Mohawks to install read some that the Curves has some issues

Got them in two days. I am 95% groomed trail rider. I went with their 6 inch round bars. It's perfect. I'm telling you these skis are unreal . The fit n finish is amazing and the design of them is perfect. So glad I chose curves
