Looking to buy used helix but seller doesn't know angle/angles. Dalton helix with numbers 0130 stamped on it. Called Dalton, no help. Any ideas anyone?

I have been buying Dalton helixs for Yamaha secondaries probably as long as Dalton has been selling them. I have always purchased them directly from Dalton or one of their distributors and I have never seen one that doesn't have the angles imprinted on the helix.
If it really is a Dalton helix it must have been custom ordered for someone selling clutch kits that didn't want anyone to know the angles...another reason I have always built my own kits as how can you dial in your clutches if you don't have the numbers to do the math?
One exception to my rule is Ulmer as he will tell you what his angles are if you need the info.

No angles stamped in it, must be special cut helix. Is their a way to measure it? BTW, Dalton stamping is on it.

Like sideshow said, it's likely from someones kit and they don't want you to know their angle.

I'd say you're right but is there a way to measure it to find the angles on it?

Roll it on a piece of paper tracing the curve with a pencil, then use a protractor to measure it
Thanks Tcat100. I knew it couldn't be that hard but when you aren't very bright...........lol
