Count me as an owner of a scratched spindle 2005 RX-1. No big deal. The dealer actually pointed it out to ME, and they have already ordered the replacement parts.Snorover said:I just talked to my dealer and he said all the machines that they uncrated had scratches due to poor crating.
Anyone hear this too????

Yes from MM. I bought it from Steve billingsley. I paid $7,300 +change. OTD. I've know him for 20 + years.. Greenville was about $75 cheaper but I would need to drive up there so I kept it local. MM. P.S. It still sounds sweeeeeeeeet.

Wow. I wish we had dealers in New England like you guys out west. Dealers replacing parts because of a few minor scratches??? When I bought my '03, I had a couple screws that were stripped out and the panels slightl loose because of it, a bunch of chips in the finish of the hood, a hairline crack starting in the headlight trim...and they said it was normal delivery and assembly damage, and wouldn't do anything about it. Must be nice to have caring dealers.

Jim, I live in New Hampshire. Leighton's in Lee is where I bought my sled. They pointed it out and already had the new parts ordered when I picked it up. They told me I could take it with me or leave it there.
