- 2016 RS Vector XTX 1.25 Lug wifes..2013 RS Vector LTX.. 2003 600 VMax Past Machines 3-2007 Attaks 1-2010 Vector LTX.. sorry no Stinkdoos or poo's cats.
Put Slim Jims on the original Yamaha OEM skis and its even better. We will be doing the same on my sons 2016 Vector by removing the Tuner 2 skis and installing the OEM's with Slim Jims. Absolutely no darting and with silky smooth performance.
Do you find the Slim Jims are better then the Original duallys?

I do. I think the Slim Jims steer easier than the original Duallys and I have used the Duallys in the past with very good results.

I should try them.. what the heck..... no problems with rail crossings or payments?

Well, crossing rail tracks are always a problem with any setup. I have been thrown from my sled years ago. Much more careful now.

Never had any problems here. I always try to cross at a right angle to the tracks....or as much as I can.

Try both back to back on the same day and tell me the 129 is better! HAHA No chance. I was a huge 121 defender and once I went long I have no idea why I stayed as a 121 for so long. I had 241 hp on a 121 and when I went to the 151 it was like I had 340hp. Insane change in traction, better over bumps, etc. I guess that is why they give you options. My comment on why even make a 129 was more around the idea that if your riding in such tight conditions where you need every ounce of maneuverability you could get, you probably don't need the 204hp I was spinning my 121 at 70+ mph when I would floor it and didn't know it until I got the 151 and it almost ripped the sled out of my hands on the first pull!

Thanks Kinger for getting back on topic....my original plan was to go 137, but a couple of buddies are snow checking new sleds also. One is going with a 129 SW and the other is going with a 129 T-cat or ZR 9000. I started to question my choice but after reading the reviews I'm staying with my original choice.....the new sled will be the L-TX-LE 137 50th in Red!
