Dimebag and ntm_08 - The garage - 2012 Engine rebuild

I almost broke the garage in half when i had to remove the jackstands for some minutes.. the new subframe had several reinforcements that the old one did not have. Therefore i could not fit it without removing the jacks.

The sled was hanging from the two blue "ropes" that you can see in the pictures.. I heard "knaaaaaack" in the ceiling..

That was some scary minutes..

Very cool thread guy's, I really need to look around more cause I just found this one.

Find me a way to fly my sled as checked baggage so I can come ride with you guy's. ;)!

Be careful!! so you dont hurt the sled :)

I can assure you that was my biggest concern..

Think about it.. Sled with subframe removed .. Bang down in the concrete floor.. That would have been an early ending of the 2012 season..

Thanks. More updates to come..

You could always hire a venture or something.. We promise to wait you :-o

I've got a emotional connection with my sled, I can't go play without it :jump: . I do really want to come there though.

Hehe, I understand.. Just come over .. We'll hook you up with some great riding. We usually have about 3 weeks vacation during the riding season so we get plenty of time to ride.

We have been talking about taking the trip to US/CAN to ride. Hire sleds/cabin and the whole thing. It has not happened yet, as it is a major cost to do..
But one day, hopefully...

Some more pics of the TCV relocation. I would recommend everyone who is planning to relocate the TCV to get some better hoses. They were cracked in all the bends. This is red silicone hoses, which hopefully will last longer than the fuel hoses. The wire going to the TCV is inside the black "cable tube".

You can also see the O2 sensor installed in the exhaust, and the Innovate instrument next to the boost gauge on the steering post.

Great work guys, very informative and well thought modifications that will help out a few guys having the same problems as you guys experienced.

That exhaust leak also slowed down spool up time by a lot I'm sure of.

Keep it coming :)

Hi there guys! Been a while since my last visit in this thread, good reading:)

I noticed the shim/nut behind you had behind the oiltank, I did not put a shim there when I mounted my kit. Maybe I should check the oiltank for rub through =P.

Hmmf

Wow ;)! , you have really taken over the whole thread Dimebag ! ;):D

Think it`s time for ntm_08's comeback

Did not have much time to work on my snowmobile this summer. The only thing I did was replace some bushings in the primary clutch.

Got the thistledoo nuts and the innovate A/F gauge from Dimebag this weekend. We have already installed it and the pictures will find it`s way here. ;)!

I also just received 1 of 3 shipments from OFT Racing. Dimebag just took it and ran. It was one of the Skinz Concept susp. The only thing i got out of it was my new FoxFloat EVOL`R Shock`s. They look pretty damn sweet !
