How do people suck up their rear suspension? Im thinking of adding some rear straps and sucking it up that way will that work? I have air shocks in front so I just let the air out.

I was told that if you pull all your idler wheels off you can get a couple mph's out of that. I rigged up a slide luber by using a windshield washer fluid tank with winter washer fluid mixed with a little soap. Then drilled a hole in the silde rail and ran a line to each side. Its on a toggle switch so when i run i just flip the switch.

A friend of mine runs his gear case dry, he cut a hole in the top of it and just sprays chain lube before each race, will this work on a yamaha? hes running Polaris .

Sorry if some of my ?'s are dumb im just trying to get a couple more mph's out of my sled.
Righ now I get 120mph in the 1000'. cant seem to get any faster. I think i may be out of gear.
im running a .25" track with chisel studs

well I got rid of all my wheels except the back, added a slide lube system and gained 4mph. I sucked the rear of the suspension up too far and only the front of the track was on the ice, so I spun the whole way.
Will re adjust and try it again next week.

so how would you get the the rear part of the track down.did you find a way to strap it down.my rx1 has fox floats on the front and my limiter straps tightened up but when i take air out of the front shocks the back sits to high .i am also trying to figure a way to get it lowered for drag racing.thanks for any help.

I bought a 2nd set of limiter straps.
I lefted the back of the sled off the ground, took the seat off the put a heavy duty ratchet strap around the tunnel and track. ratched it up the installed the straps.

hi deerlodge can you post a picture of how you did it please and thanks.thanks for the reply.
