20151105_184036_resized_1.jpg 20151105_184020_resized.jpg I was comparing fit and finish with the 06 APEX and there is a big difference. The small refinements added up over the years. Thank God my 14 Viper is gone and they still are having some issues for 16 go figure. All I have to say it’s good to be back on a true YAMAHA.

That's a beautiful sled

Looks great! Still waiting on mine! What are some of the specific fit and finish differences between the 16 and 06. More pics would be a bonus!

GW no more phillip screws to take out on the side panel to change the oil they are hex heads. Grease fittings in the front end. No more plastic engine cover made out of aluminum now. Heated shield plug in big plus. Seat is higher and the shape is also different. Clutching seems to be smother also this is the first sled out of the 16 new sleds I have owned that when loading on the trailer the first time, just gave it a little gas and away it went also backing off was the same I was amazed. I have 6” and 4” carbides on the front and thought I wasn’t going anywhere on the concrete. I have 85 lbs in the front air shocks so the ski pressure should be there.

What?! Are you adding extra wheels? What do you think of the singleshot?

The single shot there is not much to it at 500 mile oil change I will change the hyfax to the Du Ponts I am sold I on them. No extra wheels in my plans unless is see usual wear at one point in the hyfax. I am around 270 in street cloths and I have 285 lbs in the rear shock stock was 240. My dealer does a great job setting up my sled for me. I would tell you everything he does but I can't because there are individuals on this site that when I mention things he does for me run back to the dealer and cry about why they didn't have that done or drill him about things.

X2 on having a Great Dealer, mine really takes Good care of me as well.
I know what you mean by can't talk about it.
My dealer does things for me that the average Joe won't get. Many things I can't talk about.
I send him quite a little bit of business and he is Thankful of it and treats me above and beyond what the average customer gets.

GW I thought that the sled would have come with DuPont hyfax NOT.
Strange. Chris Read originally said in 2013 new sled would come with thinner DUPONT hyfax then the ones they sell since their expensive to make. Strange they just stopped for 2016.
