It's not just Dooly's --- any ski/carbide can catch a track way easily. New/sharp carbides or bulky ones (like Dooly's) are probably more prone to catch though.

Happen on my SRX, i wasn't going to fast because i had a passanger with single carbides and it stopped me dead, my knees went into the cowl, no damage except for the carbide at the tip of the ski. It broke the bolt right off and bent the carbide, it was a tough ride home because it was pulling to the side. Ever since then i crawl over train tracks

I've seen this happen several times. Whenever I install new carbides, I taper the fronts on a grinding wheel. Before there were dulleys, my friend hooked a rr track with a stock Mach 2000 ski. It ripped his spindle loose, and put the trailing arm into the windshield. He was going 5 mph.
