Hi Matt, i told Dave about the Heat you used but i don't think they sell it in Canada. I'm going to stick with the windshield washer and water. Matt did you give me extra weights for the clutch? I thought you did but i just can find them right now. The arms have no weights and i need to add because we went up 50hp.
Question: how much weight should i add to the clutch to start off with?

Yea buddy should be in a bag with a long t-alen. Boy for adding weight hard to say. I like to be as light as you can to help with turbo lag.

I ran my Nytro up to 18psi with avgas last winter. The internals are all stock with the exception of a headshim. I am think of getting a meth/water kit. What should I do to the motor?

If you want to be safer for air and water polution, Walmart sells Ethanol based washer fluids which is biodegradable.

Hi Guys, time to report the year i have had now that it is almost time to put her away for the season. I have had some bad luck this year but all in all its been not a bad year. I must say THE METH ROCKS.
I started my winter off like this, after the first ride i was telling my buddies that the sled is not as scary as last year. After telling a fellow member (DC5 which has been a big help to me this year) he guess it right away to check the intercooler because at around 15lbs the Benders I/C like to crack and sure enough on the bottom seam there was about 7inch crack, got it welded. Then i lost a reservoir on the front shock in the rear suspension. Then she wouldn't start in the cold, 1 of the plugers for the choke was siezed and need to be changed out. Then i was fighting with the I/C blowing off the carbs. I even had a carb blow off and when i tighen it down about 10 miuntes later the boot cracked. Got that all fixed up and i was with a group coming across the Ottawa river in the Dark and i was doing like 50mph and i hit an Ice heave that looked like a drift i rolled the sled and a buddy from behind hit the sled. It could have been worse he could have hit it headon or myself. The damage report was front bulk head left and right, A-arms, sway bar, dog bone, windshield, guage pod, and a broken bar in the rear suspension. The sled is all back together but i'm still fighting a boost leak or my meth fail safe is kicking in. It will go up to 12lbs and stay there for a second then falls off. I beleieve i might have found my boost leak with one of Ted's recommendations, just before the exhaust goes into the turbo i can see where it has been sliding back and forth and i think i need the flex pipe that goes here. Even with all these issues i have managed to put on 2000 really hard kms this winter and i still love the sled. I drive this sled just like a 2 stroke and the motor has not skipped a beat. My temps in good snow are 165F and in low snow it goes up to 180F. The only thing about the sled that i don't like is the sound, IT'S LOUD. Buget has been speant for the winter so looks like i will have to wait for next year to get a new muffler and a flex pipe. Here's a few picks from the Winter.

Hey Blue, i here you on that. All year i have ran 91 octane i even had to put in 89 once up in North Quebec with octance boost and ran it at 12 lbs. At the first of the year i was running around 16lbs but after the I/C problems i ran the rest of the year at 11 to 12lbs.

Yes she has been Matt. I got a few things planned for her this summer. Just dreaming right now but i would like to install L/C pistons this summer and new rings to get away from burning oil, I want the Bender muffler, flex pipe and a new bigger intercooler oh and bigger BOV. With this I think she should be able to handle 16 to 18lbs boost all the time. Then back to the dyno for 325HP.
Question Matt? Do you know where the oil restrictor jet is? I think i read in your old posts there is a 50 jet in there and i want to get a 35 in there.
Thanks

if you follow your oil line right by the gas tank where the metal tubing is connected together with a short rubber hose you will see a clamp in the middle of the rubber hose.that holds the jet atleast on my bender it does.
