Any word on if we will see an ECU update to address the hot start issue. And if so when would we expect to see this? Summer...fall never lol

Well considering they didn't spend any time designing a new sled this year we should already have our updates.

That's kinda what I was thinking... But I can deal with it as long as a fix is in the works.

It would probably be good for each of us to contact our dealer and ask the question. I asked mine a week ago and he will be asking Yamaha. He may have already talked with them but I've not talked with the dealer lately.

Adds say the new Mountain Viper has new ECU, and clutching changes. I would hope this translates to an update for us. I don't need the clutch update now but the ECU would be nice. (didn't we do this in 2007 with the Phazers? dejavu?)

I don't know what's up with Yamaha! If there was a reflash for the 15's obviously they know there is a problem! Why didn't we get taken care of? Just like the shipping bull crap! We never heard a thing! We get a crap load of stuff in the mail saying thanks for selecting Yamaha, or surveys. Why didn't we get one for the shipping or reverse or the reflash or clutch. WHY

Right on it's all good! I'm not really having starting issues or anything. Was just a little upset as I watch sleds go by my house! I'll get mine back and it'll rip again!

I would like to know why Yamaha supplied the motor and didn't supply the ecu?
