Asking for a friend. 2019 SRX. He tells me last night the sled started no problem. Put it on his truck and let it run for a few minutes, then it suddenly shuy off. Now, has no power to anything. It is not the kill switch he claims. Any ideas?

Check you batter connections and then check fuses in fuse block. Then pull fuse block and check under it for rub throughs wires.
30 amp fuse blows every time it's about to start. Any help with this new info?
If all the wiring, and the battery check ok then it sounds like the voltage regulator could be at fault...not an uncommon issue on these 998s.
Pay particular attention to the wiring harness under the fuse block where rub throughs have been known to happen.

Also look at the engine mount left front. You can see this by looking in clutch side just in front of primary and above. Seen some rub through the loom and into wire(s).
A little follow up. It looks like the voltage regulator is bad. We unplugged the voltage regulator, and the sled ran fine. Thanks to Sideshow for pointing us in the right direction.
Ironically, I think I might have the same issue on my 22. Can someone guide me to where the voltage regulator is on a 22 with power steering? I looked last night, and it is not in the same place as the 19 SRX without PS.

Thanks, will look later. Gonna replace it. My battery wont stay charged, and there is not a draw, we tested for that. New battery this year.

Starting to see more failures on these voltage regulators. Wonder what's going on with these?

The older ones were pretty good for the most part.
There was a rash of them going bad the year of the power steering arrival.

I've had a lot of Winders come in and haven't seen a bad one yet.The older ones were pretty good for the most part.

My 2018 has been flawless. The 22 has had issues, now with a going voltage regulator.
