I just bought a 2010 Yamaha venture rs and have ridden it for a weeks all but put 200 km yesterday and as I pulled up to the cabin the sled started to bog and the lights went out on dash except the high beam light will come on also have no tail light or brake light and the back up beeper is not working , but sled will run checked fuses all look so not sure where to check now any help would be great. Thx
Have you checked all the fuses? There are some beside the battery as well.

I checked fuse on right side of sled never saw any by battery, only bad fuse I had bad was the 3 amp fuse for back helmut plug that is wired into tail light . Where is load relay located , thx for all the help

just above the right toe hold and below the reverse lever. Remove vented plastic panel.

Thx for all the help , I will check that out and let you know , I wired the passenger helmut in with the tail light power feed do you think this would have anything to do with my problem

All fuses are ok including ones by battery and changed the load control relay this didn't fix the problem , as there anything else that I can checks , and thx for all the help.

Bad battery? One cell in the battery going bad? Pull the battery and have it load tested?

Starts sled no problem , headlights work and both hand and thumb warmers work fine and battery shows 12.6 volts seems odd that it could be battery but I don't know what else to check thanks for the suggestions

Bad battery or possibly not charging. I'll pull up the wiring schematic tonight to look for other possible causes.

what's the voltage on the battery when it's running? should be around 13.5 volts

14 volts is probably OK. The load control relay is powered by the key switch and controlled by the ECU. Check the key switch connector for corrosion.
