You can complain but maybe its not as common as you think.... how much you want for it??Ill fix it and run the crap out of it.
I never said it was common that it broke my beef is the fact that people don't stand be hide their product.
But how long have you had it and and look as the miles?? It happens and if the Vendor would give out new systems with those terms he may as well stop making them. I would fix it as stated above with extra sleeve welded on and move on.... if you get a replacement maybe it could happen again... who knows.

on the apex that part is a wear item and after 7-8000 k i would maybe be disapointed in the fact that it broke much like a stock one would but like many have said the best thing to do is have a local welder fix it up and you will be back on your way. sounds like he offered to fix it for you but the time it would take to ship it back and forth is longer then you want to wait. would you expect him to send you a new part over night ? i think its maybe a little bit of miss comunication and emotions are getting in the way. but I also think if you replaced with stock parts you would find the same problem. the rear exhaust even thou I love it causes allot of problems with how much thease chassis flex and just about everyone has had that kind of failer with all typs of exhaust on thease sleds.

I think the biggest question is what is the manufacturer's warranty? I for one would never purchase an expensive product without knowing exactly what the terms and conditions of warranty are. If your pipes are still under warranty, then I would say you have a legitimate complaint. If it is beyond the warranty period, then I feel you have unrealistic expectations of how warranty agreements work. I would never expect the manufacturer of a $800 TV to give me a new one after the warranty has lapsed... I don't see why it should be different on an exhaust system.

Oooooooh Warp, I think you've been told, lol.
Have to agree, can't expect any kind of warranty after six years!
Weld it like I did, problem solved, end of thread

Yea, I had a similar problem with a new truck I bought years ago. I drove it for 3 years, put 45000 miles on it. Then one day the tires went bald and the company wouldn't give me new ones! And I had to keep on putting gas in it AND change the oil! Can you believe it! Everything should last forever!

We can do without guys posting their so called "smart comments". If they don't have anything constructive to contribute, then they should keep their comments to themselves. It just pisses people off!

Well, let's try to make this constructive - dissect that bugger, more pictures, please. Parts just don't break, people break parts in three different ways... It was either designed wrong (or reached it's design life), manufactured wrong, or used wrong.

I have a thread on here on I believe pg seven titled " losing rpm @ WOT". My Excell pipe cracked in the exact same place!! Took it to my local prop shop welding dude, he welded her up for 40 bucks, got it back the same day in just as good if not better than new condition!!!! He welded the sleeve to the pipe. I have pics on my thread as well showing the crack then the fix Rock On
I think it is a weld problem because Ranger1 pictures shows the same break as mine if you look at his post.
I'm not a trouble maker, but I don't go away with my tail between my legs either.

My exhaust on my 06 Nytro cracked in exactly the same spot....I'm not a welder but it's almost like they didn't make enough of a bead......I talked to Aaron but mine was over a year old so I bought some of that super high temp tape and wrapped the health out of it......problem solved......
