Excell FX Nytro Ehaust

thnx allen...i think there would be alot of intrest in a under tunnel..as like nikolai id like to put a boss seat and ditch all the plastic..like what you did on the project vector

Right now it exits above the tunnel like stock. I'm sure if there is enough interest one could be made for below the tunnel as well. The above the tunnel unit will have the possiblity of adding a "turn down" and exiting into the tunnel (although not what you're looking for if you want to get rid of the stock seat, etc and add a Mountain Mod or Boss seat.
I'd be very interested in a under tunnel exhaust as well!

I'm trying to picture what an under tunnel exhaust would look like, anyone have pics of a Yamaha sled with one ? What about snow and ice build-up with that application ?

Aaron has a picture of one uninstalled on his site (not for Nytro).

Maybe I'm just clueless but I don't understand why people want a under tunnel system anyhow. There must be some sort of benefit I'm not aware of I guess.

Due to size and space restraints to keep it from hitting the track or getting hit by the track you can not make it as large as you can above the tunnel. Because of that it will likely be louder (which is somewhat muffled by the track when moving).

I just hope Aaron's exhaust can flow enough to match our second version of the MOD air box designed to run with a PCIII and Aaron's exhaust! LOL!

Can't wait for the results. Always exceptional work from both these companies and they stand by their product. Thy don't just give you vague "hp gains." It's gonna be impressive.

On the dyno November 13th Excell Motorsports & Ulmer Racing. Testing Power Commander, Ignition Module, MOD Air Box, and numerous exhaust combinations!

Allen - Just don't keep Aaron out there to long, He's installing my ZX2 & Excell Header on the 15th!

Allan Ulmer and Aaron Excell just left the dyno, Allan driving home 1200 miles to SD. We made 36 dyno runs tweaking exhaust muffler/ header/airbox/ fuel/ spark modifications wound up with close to stock Apex HP. Most credit will go to the Excell 3 into 1 header before the muffler. More to come

Well, I was lucky enough to be invited along for the dyno session. Pretty impressive results, it's not my place to post numbers though. I'm sure they will be up soon. Anyone with a dynotech membership learned a lot. I will say anyone looking at another pipe should ask to see dyno results first or you will most likely just be making noise.

Jim- nice to meet you.
Allen- you as well. have a safe trip back.
