Is it worth installing an aftermarket exhaust header on a NA Viper? How much does one gain going this route? I have no doubt that the workmanship and materials are/may be better with any of the various offerings compared to stock, but does that mean it flows better? They are fairly costly -- why not wait until you actually need to replace the stock one (if it ever fails)?
Give me some opinions and feedback.
Thanks!

I keep going back to the fact that Excell had one listed then dropped it. HP per dollar was not there and he did not want to compromise reputation by overstating the gains.

I have to agree here, while a new header can help some the stock header is good enough that the gains to be had from an aftermarket header are not cost effective in my mind.

No I put one in I don't recommend it for the price, don't think it did anything

For me I am pulling 3.9g more weight in primary and about 2mph more top end. It took the mid range hit out and now has a even pull up to top end. Evo header. Worth it? Taking what I can.
