Haha, Mr Sled, your video is spot on. It's the heat cycles that kill the cables. I'm thankful for your vids

I used Tom's video, it is perfect.

I am going on 4 winters now with this 2012 and have never checked the cables....14000 kms on the sled. Previous owner set the cables when it was new...I have just been lazy. Checked them this season and both broken!
Replaced and followed the video.
I never noticed them broken, but then again, I have a MCX290 turbo on mine....

why i check mine every year on both sleds. only broke one set on the 11 so far 2 years ago.
