Tried to get the fan.Dealer gave me the documented shpeel.Took care of that easily.Then he claims the standard Phazer does not have the wiring for the fan update.Is this true?
Also I broke the number2 exhaust at head.New ones are Identical not reinforced so I got mine welded and passed on new ones.
Have not heard anything on Hero kit yet but checked my link and its not cracked and washers are welded all the way around so maybe not a issue.

all phazers come standard with the fan wiring, i have installed one on my fx and it works perfect, no more overhaeting issues

the wiring is there, yamaha should close in the tunnel and put a fan in for free, those were the 2 main issues i saw with them this year on my fx
Can anyone take a pic of wiring?My dealer insists that only the GT and FX Phazers have the wiring for fan.Help is appreciated.

The wire harnes had a plug sticking out of it right next to the top of the oil tank on my FX. If it is wired you should see the plug for the fan.
Went to dealership and took sidecover off a GT.Its true.Wiring is different
The GT has a white plug and a small black one where I assume fan plugs in.My has a black outfit but not a plug.Bummer.Supposedly a retrofit kit for standards is being investigated.
